As the mother of a special needs adult daughter I have prayed for many years that she would get to worship on her mental level and in an atmosphere that would be accepting of her disability.   She recently told me she was very happy now that she could go to church every week and that she always understands what Bro. Mike is saying.   She has many problems daily but on Saturday she can separate from that and enjoy worshiping our Lord. Thank you FGC for caring!

We are so excited about FGC.  This extraordinary church has given our special needs teenager a way to fully participate in a wonderful worship experience as well as an opportunity to make new friends.  Through their Special Friends Youth Group Amy has also had many service and social opportunities where she is  welcomed and loved abundantly while becoming an integral part of an amazing group of young adults just like her.

Friends of God is an answer to our prayer, for a place for special families to come together in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ -- and find support from others and encouragement for others going through the same kinds of things that we all go through-- The Lord Jesus allows us to go through what he allows us to go through to turn around and share the love of the Lord Jesus with others who are going through the same thing.
